Industry benchmarks are able to offer performance indicators that help businesses compare their social media performance against industry standards. These benchmarks provide valuable insights into how well a company is performing compared to others in its sector.

With Socialinsider, you can get into these details by comparing any brand against its industry.

The Industry benchmarks feature is available for Facebook, Instagram, and X (former Twitter).

In other words, you can compare any profile from your project with the industry that you choose.

❗️Note: Keep in mind that you need to have the profiles added to your project in order to use the Industry benchmarks feature. Check out this step-by-step guide on how to add a profile to Socialinsider.

Now, let’s take Facebook Industry Benchmarks, for example. Here’s how to properly use this feature:

  1. Go to the Facebook page of your choice

  2. Click on ‘Industry’

In this view, you’ll have the Facebook page you selected and a new section on the right side.

  3. Select an industry, country, and number of fans (this is for the range of fans)

  4. Click on 'Update'

Voilà! There you have it!

For Instagram and X, the steps are the same.

❗️Note: Keep in mind that there is a chance that we won’t always have enough data to proceed with the selection you make. That’s why we encourage you to leave us a message and recommend more pages and profiles for a specific industry.
