October wasn't spooky enough to keep us scared. In fact, we weren't afraid to experiment and try bold new things. 👻

We rolled out one of our biggest projects yet, tackled some long-overdue complex features, and squeezed in a team-building session that was as much fun as it was productive. 🎉

Here's what's new in October. 🙌

1. Socialinsider AI

We're excited to announce the launch of Socialinsider AI, a powerful strategy assistant that's been built directly into the Socialinsider platform. This innovative tool transforms your raw data into clear, actionable insights in just a few seconds. 🙌

With the help of Socialinsider AI, you'll be able to make more informed decisions that are grounded in data, while simultaneously freeing up valuable time that you can redirect toward the more creative, strategic, and impactful aspects of your role.

Why we built it

We know how important it is to get to insights faster and to know what to do with them once you have them.

Socialinsider AI bridges the gap between dashboards and decisions. It enables every team member to ask questions about their accounts, understand performance in the context of their industry and competitors, and act on specific recommendations - whether you're just getting started or running complex, multi-profile analyses. 🧡

The result? Faster insights, clearer priorities, and smarter outcomes powered by your data and our research.

Where it lives

Socialinsider AI shows up in two complementary ways that work together to drive faster decisions.

→ Start a conversation

Open a thread with the Assistant and ask in plain language: “What changed this week?”, “How do we compare to Sephora on TikTok?”, or “What should we test to lift saves by 20%?”

The Assistant reads your project’s data, explains what’s happening, and recommends next steps.

You can ask follow‑up questions, refine the angle, and go from insight to action in minutes.

→ Explore ‘Project Key Insights’

On every project, the home view has auto‑generated key insights (at the project level).

These highlight what matters right now: trend breaks, standout content, competitive gaps, and meaningful shifts in audience behavior.

Each insight is a doorway: click in to see the evidence, then continue the conversation with the assistant to dig deeper, compare periods, or turn findings into a plan.

Here’s an example - I clicked on the first card, “Gorillaz's Steady Facebook Presence and Massive Reach,” and it opened a conversation with Socialinsider AI. I can now ask follow-up questions to discover more about this insight.

Put simply, the Project Key Insights help you notice what deserves attention; the conversation helps you understand why it happened and what to do next.

What Socialinsider AI can do

  • Turn metrics into insights you can actually understand, with clear stories instead of just charts and numbers

  • Compare your performance with competitors and industry standards so you know where you stand and what to do next

  • Give you recommendations on what to post, when to post it, and where to focus your efforts

  • Suggest practical next steps with actions that are easy to follow

  • Explain the "why" behind your results by showing what's driving spikes and dips in your performance

  • Answer your questions about the data, like what changed, what caused it, and how you compare over time

2. Global Brand Benchmark Directory

This is just a reminder that last month we released an important project that we’ve been developing for quite some time.

We compiled data from 6 markets across 12 industries to provide in-depth insights into brand performance metrics, audience engagement patterns, and content strategy effectiveness across different platforms.

We've redesigned how you explore our comprehensive benchmark database:

  • Improved navigation makes finding relevant benchmarks faster

  • Cleaner layout that helps you locate the data you need instantly

  • Better organization across hundreds of benchmark studies

  • Quicker access to the insights that inform your strategy

Why this matters

When you're setting goals or justifying strategy decisions, having fast access to accurate benchmark data is crucial. The easier it is to find, the more likely you are to use it.

These comprehensive analytics allow you to identify specific strengths and weaknesses within your industry competitors and understand what truly resonates with your target demographic.

💡 Pro Tip: Bookmark specific industry pages you reference frequently. When stakeholders ask, "Is this good performance?" you can pull up benchmarks in literal seconds. ✌️

Product Improvements 🚀

We're preparing for Meta's upcoming deprecation of Impressions in November. Consider this your friendly reminder to be aware of this change:

Beginning November 15, 2025, we’re deprecating the ‘impressions’ and ‘page fans’ metrics from the Page Insights API. This is in line with our continued efforts to align the functionality of the Page Insights API with that of the Facebook app and Meta Business Suite.

No immediate action is required, especially if you're already using Views as your primary metric instead of Impressions.

These changes will also be reflected in your dashboard in November.
