Content Pillars Overview: compare all your pillars in one place

All your content pillars, compared side by side

Written by Diana Gogolan

The Overview is where you compare all the content pillars in your project, side by side. AI themes, Query Builder pillars and manual tags appear in one table, so you can see at a glance which themes get the most posts and the most engagement, and on which profiles.

All numbers in the Overview are from the last 30 days.

How to open it

  1. Select your project from the project menu at the top of the sidebar.

  2. In the sidebar, click Content Pillars.

  3. Overview opens by default. You can also find it at the top of the Content Pillars menu, above AI Themes, Query Builder and Manual Tags.

What's in the table

Above the table you'll see how many pillars your project has. Each row is one pillar.

Column

What it shows

Pillar

The pillar's name. The icon tells you its type: a sparkle for AI themes, a tag for manual tags.

Type

How the pillar was created: AI theme, Query Builder or Manual.

Profiles

The profiles that have posts in this pillar. When there's only one, you see its name and network. When there are several, you see the count (for example 35 profiles) or the first profile plus how many more (for example systemofadown +1).

Posts

How many posts belong to the pillar in the last 30 days.

Avg. engagement

The average engagement per post in the pillar.

Actions

View analytics, rename (pen icon) or delete (bin icon).

What you can do in the Overview

Sort your pillars

Click any column header (Pillar, Type, Profiles, Posts or Avg. engagement) to sort the table by it. Click again to reverse the order.

For example, sort by Avg. engagement to find your best-performing themes, or by Posts to see which themes you post about most.

View a pillar's analytics

  1. Find the pillar in the table.

  2. Click View analytics in the Actions column.

3. You'll see the pillar's detailed performance and the posts that belong to it.

You can then go to a different content pillar directly from the dropdown.

Edit a pillar

You can both rename or delete a content pillar from the Overview section.

Keep in mind that the 'edit' icon will redirect you to the specific section.

Tips for using the Content Pillars Overview

  • Find what works - Sort by Avg. engagement, then open the top pillars with View analytics to see which posts drive the results.

  • Check your content mix - Sort by Posts to see whether you spend most of your posting effort on the themes that perform best.

  • Compare with competitors - Look for AI themes shared by several profiles. They show topics you and your competitors both post about, so you can compare how each of you performs.
